How much will it cost me?

Our aim for businesses that are open to flexible working options is to provide an invaluable resource of high level professional candidates that can provide their company with the skills they require. The cost will be considerably less to you than using a recruitment agency and even less than the cost of an advertisement in a newspaper.

There is no charge for submitting a search and receiving candidates' CVs. You pay only to receive the contact details of any candidates that interest you. The costs per vacancy are:

  • £45 to receive the contact details of up to 3 candidates.
  • Each additional candidate's details are charged at £15.

This is usually because they have family commitments and wish to achieve a good work-life balance, whilst still using their experience and qualifications.

How would using flexible workers benefit my company?

Flexible workers can be used in many different ways.

Imagine you needed a contract checked and just want a lawyer to read through it, or you wanted some help creating a marketing plan, but don't have the resources to employ a marketing agency. Where would you go? By registering with Flexible Skills Bank it will be possible to gain professional advice, experience and expertise in a wide range of skills on a contract/flexible basis, to suit your needs.

Every candidate that has registered with our site is keen to prove the value of part-time workers at a professional level, and will dedicate themselves to demonstrating this, should you choose to employ them.

Managers often work the longest hours and it is sometimes said by employers that their jobs are least suitable to be carried out by part-time or flexible workers. However, increasingly it is becoming more acceptable for employees in management positions to work part-time, and a recent study of job-sharing and flexible working managers found that they outperform colleagues working standard full-time hours.
